Understanding of the Intermediary Metabolism

According to the proponents of the diet is helpful to understand the metabolic intermediary metabolism, which is how we burn the fundamental constituents of all foods: sugars, fats, proteins. All foods in our body undergo in fact a series of chemical transformations to be converted into energy within our cells. The biochemist George Watson discovered and studied the intermediary metabolism (from 1952 to 1972) and classified three different types:

- Ipossidatore: a person who metabolizes good fats, not protein, sugars better.
- Iperossidatore: a person who does not metabolize sugar well, a little fat, more protein.
- Normossidatore: a person who does not have metabolic imbalances, well then metabolizes all three components of food.

It 'very important for the specialist to know your intermediary metabolism, since in case of overweight, just follow a pattern free from calorie counting, which does not require drastic reductions of food, but that is simply based in a correct sequence of food within the day and elimination of food from the ill-used to treat metabolic type. With proper metabolic diet you can achieve amazing results, unexpected and long-lasting, reaching a regularization of the metabolism.

Here comes the best!
To determine the intermediate metabolism there are several laboratory tests that are used for other purposes: venous pH, blood glucose curve and mineral gram. Then there’s "Odor Test" or smell test, devised by Watson and the same is based on some fundamental biochemical principles. The perception of a given odor by a person depends on the speed and efficiency of its metabolic pathways that determine changes in blood pH which in turn significantly influences the perception of chemical smell.

This test is to smell the patient in six small bottles which contained substances and chemical plants. The test provides Odor Profile of nutritional status of the subject, which comes from the content of sugars, acids and carbon dioxide in his blood. A statistically the chance of error is less than 1 in 1000.

With the smell test can identify individuals with:
• Slow Metabolism: draw energy from the metabolism of fats and proteins, while not metabolize sugars. They are people who tend to gain weight easily and lose excess weight if they continue with ease.
• Fast Metabolism: sugars burn faster and are therefore unable to completely oxidize fats and proteins. They are people who tend to eat to obesity accentuated coming; even weight loss can be fast and durable.
• Metabolism neutral: their metabolic processes are normal, but may lack the necessary amount of nutrients, vitamins and minerals to live optimally. Body weight tends to remain constant.

Once tested and discovered the intermediary metabolism just follows a proper nutritional program and specific for each subject and a personal effort, it will resolve the problem of energy imbalance and nutritional, reaching a mental state and physical best.
